Why LantosVPN?

Decentralized

Decentralized

LantosVPN runs through the Ethereum network, making it decentralized. This means that no single entity runs or controls it. With that comes many freedoms such as security, privacy, and peace of mind that your data is not in the hands of the wrong people.

No logs

No Logs

Many VPN's keep logs of their clients usage. The time they keep their usage may vary, however even them keeping it temporarily is a risk for your personal data. If the government wanted access to the logs that VPN company would likely give them up. Luckily, Lantos VPN does not keep logs, so your VPN usage is safe.

Lightning Fast Speeds

Fast

Lantos runs through the lightning fast Ethereum Network so long wait times are things of the past for this VPN. In a typical VPN your network speed is way lower but utilizing the Ethereum Network we eliminate this issue, while still staying secure and decentralized.

How does it work?

LantosVPN utilizes the Ethereum blockchain and existing VPN protocols to make the ideal VPN that meets all of your privacy needs. The existing VPN protocol we are using is OpenVPN which is currently one of the best VPN protocols in terms of speed and protection. Ethereum will contribute by means of execution. Typically you have to interact with a VPN providers database in order to connect but with LantosVPN you will connect to our VPN straight through the Ethereum blockchain. You can connect through the Lantos Ecosystem Dapp or directly using the LantosVPN Dapp when the VPN comes out.

Team

The founders are a team of four friends who met many years ago learning to program java when one of us (Alexander) discovered Bitcoin. We kept with our endeavors of learning to program in multiple languages, but as our interest in cryptocurrencies grew, we started to experiment with blockchain technology. This is when we came up with the idea for a decentralized VPN.

Alexander Yakovich

Alexander Yakovich

One of the four founders of Lantos. Responsible for the concept of Lantos. Has extensive experience in 3 computer programming languages including Java and Solidity, and is familiar with 6 of them.

James Yu

James Yu

Another of the four founders of this project, James is responsible for our website's design. He has been a website designer for about as long as he has been a programmer. Knows 5 programming languages, HTML is his best.

Nuvraj Singh

A founder of Lantos, and the reason anyone knows about our project, Nuvraj is our marketing director. He has been marketing for multiple other projects in the crypto space for a while and has now moved on to his own project.

Christopher Wilson

Christopher Wilson

The last founder of Lantos, Christopher, makes it all work. When we all started to learn programming, Chris started to take interest in VPNs. He has been experimenting with them seriously for three years. Chris also knows 6 programming languages.
